Born the eldest son of Ichikawa Ebizo IX (later Danjuro
XI). |

Debuts under the name Ichikawa Natsuo in Daitoku Temple (Daitokuji) at the Kabuki-za. |

Performs as Ushiwakamaru and takes the name Ichikawa Shinnosuke VI. |
1969 |
Performs as Sukeroku in Sukeroku, the Flower of Edo (Sukeroku Yukari no Edo Zakura) and Togashi in The Subscription List (Kanjincho) to mark his taking the name Ichikawa Ebizo X. |
1985 |
Three months of special performances at the Kabuki-za mark his ascension to the name Ichikawa Danjuro XII. |
